“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart.” Carl Jung
I often believed that my grief defined me. Early in my young adulthood I was faced with the AIDS Epidemic losing family members and many friends. I found that community service was an avenue for me to channel my sorrow with many years of peer counseling and hospice volunteering. There were times when I could not face a day without feeling overwhelmed with sadness. Life events led me to a place of thinking that happiness belonged to other people, not myself. Through my search for healing utilizing mindfulness, I learned that each moment of each hour of each day is an opportunity for me to walk on the path to Self. As a transpersonal psychotherapist I understand that there are many paths to finding peace. I believe that healing is possible. I offer an opportunity for us to work together in finding your strengths in the sea of the unconscious self along with enhancing life skills and behavioral changes.
I am a 2017 graduate of California Institute of Integral Studies with a Masters in Counseling Psychology (Community Mental Health). I decided to return back to school and finish my degree later in life. I had believed that I was not capable of change, yet with accepting my challenges I was able to make the changes, graduating with honors. I flourished with the right support. I believe you can flourish as well. I am here to support you in your journey.
